The Ceremony
The wedding ceremony expresses your deep love and the commitment to the path you envision together. It has been a privilege for me to assist in this vital part of the celebration. The power of the words written in the ceremony continue to build upon the foundation you have begun during the growth of your history and affinity. I have a variety of ceremonies from which to choose. With them, we can blend your feelings and dreams, promises and hopes into the perfect ceremony that speaks to your hearts.
The Oregon Coast
The beaches and towns along the north Oregon coast are known for their beauty and hospitality. The many parks and waysides offer spectacular ocean vistas that can include old growth trees, waterfalls and lighthouses. Each beach gifts you with a different sampling of rock formations, trails, tide pools and open spaces for walking and relaxation. The beach can be the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. You are surrounded in beauty as the ocean itself offers inspiration through its power, consistency and the promise of tomorrow.
Many hotels, known for their hospitality, can provide the perfect venue or amenities for your wedding and reception. Restaurants, florists, bakeries and beauty salons can support your vision. A small, intimate wedding or a more formal affair are embraced with the beauty and opportunity found here.
My Introduction
I’ve lived in Seaside for 40 years. My greatest honor has been to officiate weddings. I am asked to participate in the intimate sharing of great love and promise. Each ceremony has a special quality that touches me deeply. From young to older couples, gay weddings, more secular or religious; the desire for companionship and the commitment to one another fills me with hope and gratitude. It is a privilege for me. Thank you for inviting me to your wedding.
I am happy to offer suggestions for lodging, eateries and local businesses that can complete your wedding plans. Each beach or park has its own appeal. There will be a perfect place for you. I serve the north Oregon coast from Cannon Beach, Seaside, Gearhart, Warrenton, to Astoria. Also, by special appointment the Washington peninsula. I appreciate the opportunity to create with you a ceremony from the heart.
